Stantec in Ireland is seeking a commercially minded and qualified accountant to join our Finance team as a Commercial Finance Business Partner. Reporting to the Ireland Financial Controller, you will support financial and commercial performance, contribute to planning and forecasting, and drive growth with hands-on financial leadership.

You will develop reporting, perform variance analysis, support month-end close, manage forecasts, and ensure IFRS 15 compliance.

Formación

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• 3–5 years post-qualification experience in commercial finance or business partnering.
• Experience in professional services or consultancy preferred.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, especially IFRS 15 and revenue recognition.
• ERP systems experience; Oracle preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and IT skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support budgeting, forecasting and performance management for Ireland operations.
• Develop management reporting and financial analysis to track KPIs.
• Prepare variance analyses and financial commentaries.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
• Coordinate and consolidate forecasts across business lines.
• Identify cost efficiency opportunities and support cost base management.
• Ensure IFRS 15 and SOX compliance where applicable.
• Support project accounting and invoicing processes.
• Provide guidance to Project Managers and operations.
• Assist with audits.
