Job summary

Brady Insurance is seeking an experienced broker to join our dynamic team in Carrick on Shannon. You will manage commercial broking, negotiate terms with underwriters and ensure clients understand cover details.

Ideally you have a proven track record in commercial broking, strong relationship skills and the ability to develop new accounts while mentoring colleagues. We offer a full training programme and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial insurance broking.
• Ability to develop new accounts and manage client relationships.
• Experience in team leadership or supervising brokers.

Responsibilities

• Broker commercial lines with care, efficiency and diligence.

We are offering an exciting opportunity to an experienced broker who wishes to join a strong dynamic team of brokers. Our ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team and have a strong track record in Commercial Broking.

The Role will include:

• Commerical Insurance broking with care, efficiency and diligence
• Help to ensure that our clients understand the terms and the extent of the cover provided in line with industry regulations.
• Negotiating terms and placing business with underwriters.
• Delivering exemplary customer service & forseeing your clients needs
• Handling Monthly Renewals, gathering updated risk information & Rebroking
• Business development skills and assisting your team grow the commercial account
• Understanding the technicalities of product and educating and advising your clients about same.
• Being a team player who is flexible and works with colleagues to deliver results

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Ability to develop new accounts
• Experience in dealing clients & Developing relationships with them
• Strong team player & collaborative
• Organisational Skills & strong attention to detail.
• Open GI / Relay knowledge an advantage
• Be an energetic, motivated and disciplined individual with a positive attitude.
