Job summary

ACCPRO is seeking a commercially minded accountant to join the team as a Commercial Analyst. The role will blend finance, operations, and business development to shape customer solutions and influence strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate is recently qualified or near qualification, with strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/data modelling capabilities to turn numbers into commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop commercial models for bids, tenders and client opportunities.
• Analyse financial, operational and commercial data to identify costs, risks and opportunities.
• Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to compare commercial options.
• Help develop business cases, pricing recommendations and commercial proposals.
• Partner with Business Development and Operations to create competitive, customer-focused solutions.
• Translate customer requirements into practical and commercially viable service models.
• Support pricing reviews, renewals and client retention opportunities.
• Challenge assumptions to improve commercial performance.
• Present analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Improve commercial tools and data-driven decision-making across the business.

Our client, a well-known global name, is looking for a highly commercial accountant, either recently qualified or at finalist level, to join the business as Commercial Analyst.

This is a broad, high-impact role where you’ll work across Operations, Business Development, Finance and Procurement, using data and commercial insight to shape customer solutions, support major bids and influence business decisions. You’ll have the opportunity to work on high-value customer opportunities, influence commercial strategy and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business. The business values capability, curiosity and potential over simply ticking every box and is particularly interested in people looking to move into a broader, commercially focused role where they can have genuine influence on business decisions.

• Good commercial understanding and an ability to think beyond the numbers
