Our Client, a leading Irish employer, is seeking a qualified accountant with 1-3 years’ PQE to join a high-performing finance team. The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and offers mentoring and clear progression.

You will be involved in strategy, group planning and analysis, monthly reporting, budgeting, cost control, and ad hoc commercial projects. Prior Big 4/Top 10 experience is preferred.

Formación

• Big 4/Top 10 trained qualified accountant with 1–3 years’ PQE.
• Strong academic results and professional pedigree.
• Experience in financial reporting and budgeting is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Involvement in strategy and financial planning & analysis.
• Managing monthly management accounts reporting to senior management.
• Day-to-day finance and accounts operations oversight.
• Lead annual budgeting process with internal departments.
• Collaborate with departments on cost-reduction initiatives.
• Oversee banking compliance certificate completions and banking ratio forecasts.
• Participate in ad hoc projects for new business cases.

Role and Reporting Lines

The role reports directly to the Group Financial Controller and will involve:

• Involvement in strategy and financial planning & analysis
• Managing the reporting of monthly management accounts to senior management and key stakeholders
• Responsibility for day-to-day finance and accounts operations
• Managing the annual budgeting process, working with the respective internal departments
• Working consultatively with departments on cost reduction initiatives
• Managing banking compliance certificate completions and banking ratio forecasts
• Working on ad hoc projects for potential new business cases
