Job summary

T & T Precision Ltd. in Cork is seeking a Tool Setter / CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, adjust and run CNC machines, ensuring precise tooling changes and high-quality output.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, performing first-off inspections, supporting maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement. On-site role with a competitive annual salary.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines or production equipment.
• Ability to install and replace tooling and fixtures.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of setup, process optimization and QC procedures.
• Familiarity with measuring equipment and dimensional QC.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong Health & Safety and GMP awareness.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust CNC and production machinery for runs.
• Install and align tooling and fixtures for changes.
• Read drawings and specifications to ensure correct setup.
• Monitor performance and adjust to maintain quality.
• Perform first-off inspections and in-process checks.
• Support preventative maintenance and tooling prep.
• Identify issues and escalate to engineering when needed.
• Assist with commissioning and setup of tooling for new products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and clean work area.
• Document records accurately and help with shift handovers.
