Job summary

T & T Precision Ltd. is seeking a Tool Setter / CNC Machine Operator to join our Cork campus. You will set up and adjust CNC machines, install tooling, read drawings and ensure product quality across production runs.

You will monitor performance, perform first-off inspections, support maintenance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean, safe work area. The role is based on a 39-hour week in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines and production equipment.
• Ability to install, adjust and replace tooling and fixtures.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of measurement and quality control techniques.
• Awareness of health and safety and GMP standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare and adjust CNC and production machinery for manufacturing operations.
• Install, align and change tooling, fixtures and machine components for runs and changes.
• Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions for accurate setup.
• Monitor machine performance and output; make adjustments to maintain quality.
• Perform first-off inspections and in-process dimensional checks.
• Support preventative maintenance and tooling preparation.
• Identify issues and escalate repairs to engineering as needed.
• Carry out minor repairs, troubleshooting and adjustments to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and GMP records.
• Assist with commissioning and setup of tooling for new products.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for productivity.
