Job summary

T & T Precision Ltd. in Ireland is seeking a Tool Setter / CNC Machine Operator to set up and adjust CNC machinery, install tooling and read engineering drawings. You will monitor performance, perform quality checks and support maintenance to ensure efficient production.

The role requires experience with CNC machines, tooling changes and strict adherence to safety standards. This on-site position offers a 39-hour week and steady production workflow.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up, prepare and adjust CNC and production machinery for manufacturing operations, ensuring optimal machine performance and product quality.
• Install, change and align tooling, fixtures and machine components for production runs and product changeovers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and work instructions to ensure precise machine setup.
• Monitor machine performance and production output, making adjustments as required to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
• Perform first-off inspections, in-process dimensional checks and quality verification of manufactured components.
• Support preventative maintenance activities, machine cleaning and tooling preparation in accordance with maintenance schedules.
• Identify tooling, machine or process issues and escalating major repairs or technical concerns to engineering personnel.
• Carry out minor machine repairs, adjustments and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Maintain production, engineering, quality and GMP records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with commissioning, testing and setup of tooling for new products and production processes.
