Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer III for the Cloud team in Ireland. You will design, build, and scale backend services for the Kestrel UI foundation, collaborating across multiple feature teams to deliver robust, production-ready features.

You will work with Go, Python, and modern distributed systems concepts, participating in on-call rotations and driving improvements in architecture, testing, and observability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience scaling backend systems and building distributed services.
• Ability to ship production-grade code with good testing.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalability.
• Team player with collaborative mindset and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, test, deploy, and maintain large-scale services.
• Triage issues and debug with impact analysis on service operations.
• Mentor engineers on web and backend services and best practices.
• Collaborate with product teams to implement new features in feature services.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maximize service availability.
