Qualifications

• 5 years of post-registration nursing experience.
• Proven track record in team management and performance.
• Minimum 3 years in caring for vulnerable adults.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Lead the team in delivering person-centred care.
• Prepare and administer drugs in line with policy and guidelines.
• Maintain residents' hygiene and dignity at all times.
• Act up for the Director of Nursing in absence or emergencies.
• Plan and allocate staff to meet clinical demands and continuity of care.
• Organise rotas and leave to maximise resources.
• Collaborate on budgeting and service plans.
• Control supplies and equipment usage.
• Identify needs through inventories and set resource limits.
• Lead by example with a positive, motivational team ethos.
• Provide guidance to junior nursing and care staff.
