Job summary

CareChoice Group Ireland is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for the Montenotte home in Cork. The CNM will report to the Director of Nursing and work closely with residents, management, and stakeholders to manage the department and ensure high standards of care.

The role requires management experience in care planning and delivery within an elderly care setting, excellent communication, organization, and a proactive approach to promoting person-centred best practice for older adults.

Qualifications

• Must have management experience in care planning and delivery in an elderly care environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong organizational ability.
• Committed to promoting and maintaining high work standards and person-centred best practice.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
• Managing, supervising, supporting, training and leading the care team.
• Planning and allocation of nursing teams to meet clinical demands and continuity of care.
• Lead by example with a positive, motivational team ethos.
• Management of medication in line with regulations and standards.
• Management of KPIs for the department.
• Providing Palliative care to residents.
• Guidance and support to junior staff.
