Job summary

CareChoice Springcare Independent Living in Ireland is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and develop the care team. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and dignity for residents.

You will act up for the Director of Nursing in their absence, manage staff rosters, support budget planning, and mentor junior staff. A background in caring for vulnerable adults and CPD commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-registration nursing experience required.
• Proven track record in team management.
• Minimum 3 years caring for vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Lead the team to deliver person-centered care.
• Prepare and administer drugs in line with policy and guidelines.
• Ensure hygiene and dignity of service users are maintained.
• Act up for the Director of Nursing in absence or emergency.
• Plan and allocate teams to meet clinical demands and continuity of care.
• Organise fair rotas and holidays to maximize staffing resources.
• Collaborate on budgeting and service plans within approved budgets.
• Control use of supplies and equipment; monitor inventories.
• Provide guidance to junior nursing and caring staff.
