Job summary

• A recognised Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering (or similar)
• Basic electrical/electronic skills enabling assembly, disassembly and adjustment of medical equipment
• Previous hospital experience and or health services work
• Ability to fault find on medical equipment
• Excellent professional, technical and communication skills are a pre-requisite
• Registered with the Institute of Engineers of Ireland
• Good understanding of patient critical medical equipment
• Strong communications, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
