Job summary

Connexus Recruit is partnering with an established business to appoint a Construction Project Manager to its in-house development function in Dublin. You’ll lead refurbishment and new-build projects across Ireland, collaborating with design and commercial teams to keep programmes on track.

With circa five years of relevant experience, you’ll coordinate contractors, monitor quality and progress, and help drive tender reviews and handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Approximately five years of relevant construction experience.
• Practical site experience and a strong understanding of construction delivery.
• A qualification in construction management, civil or mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Confident coordinating contractors and communicating with different stakeholders.
• Commercially aware, organised and proactive in resolving problems.
• Comfortable travelling to project sites across Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activity and manage contractors to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Work closely with design and commercial colleagues to keep projects moving and resolve issues.
• Monitor progress, workmanship and quality throughout construction.
• Support tender reviews, contractor appointments and procurement decisions.
• Manage snagging, project close-out and handover to operational teams.
• Build effective relationships with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
