Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Client Service Manager (Senior Consultant) to oversee day-to-day Transfer Agency services, ensuring timely, accurate client deliverables and strong service levels. You will act as the primary operational contact for a portfolio of clients, coordinating with internal partners and managing client communications and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline with client-focused banking experience.
• Operational TA experience preferred; fund accounting, fund administration or banking experience may be considered.
• Experience with people management is desirable in this individual contributor role.
• Track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• TA Industry and Regulatory knowledge strongly preferred.
• Effective verbal reasoning and numeric skills required.
• Good keyboard skills and ability to learn business systems.
• Ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Ability to review and resolve complex issues promptly.
• Ability to work on own initiative and build relationships with stakeholders (internal and external).

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day delivery of TA services to the client with regular control checklists and deadline management.
• Act as the face of Northern Trust to external and internal partners.
• Maintain client service levels with timely and accurate information delivery.
• Provide technical expertise for development of new TA products and SLDS with clients.
• Lead client due diligence visits and manage monthly reporting and KPI reviews.
• Vet incident reports prior to release to RM's/Clients and log them daily.
• Collaborate to evaluate regulatory changes and ensure current requirements are met.
• Maintain operating procedures to enhance client experience and service quality.
• Manage client issues with regular liaison to Global Fund Services Ireland leadership and RMs.
• Liaise on SLAs and prepare client-facing documentation and presentations.
• Suggest operational improvements and cost reductions; coordinate client interactions.
• Deliver Priority Client Discussions within agreed timetables and perform client reporting testing.
• Lead PMO tasks within the Client Take On process and mentor staff toward excellent client servicing.
