Job summary

Jerico Technologies is seeking an Automation Engineer (PLC & SCADA Commissioning) to join our Dublin-based project delivery team. This client-facing role blends remote design work with on-site commissioning, troubleshooting and site surveys, with occasional international travel within Europe.

Based in Dublin or nearby counties, you will lead commissioning at client sites, integrate PLC/SCADA systems, validate FAT/SAT, and maintain meticulous documentation while engaging stakeholders to ensure

Qualifications

Fluent written and spoken English for client-facing work.
Full right to work in Ireland; no visa sponsorship provided.
Valid Irish driver’s license with access to a vehicle for site visits.

Responsibilities

Client-Facing Commissioning: Lead end-to-end commissioning at client sites (domestic and international).
On-Site Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on support for logic, software, or network issues at client sites.
System Integration: Configure and integrate PLCs, SCADA/HMI, and field instruments into the automation network.
Validation & FAT/SAT: Plan and execute FAT and SAT with client engineering teams.
Documentation: Maintain test protocols and commissioning reports, as-built records.
Consultation: Communicate progress and advise clients to meet project requirements.
