Job summary

U.S. Bank Europe DAC is seeking a compliance lead to oversee Client Asset Requirements (CAR) and MiFID obligations across the Irish operations. You will provide authoritative guidance, manage governance frameworks, and challenge control effectiveness to protect client assets.

The role requires deep regulatory expertise, collaboration with business units, and proactive risk mitigation, reporting to senior management and governance committees within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Client Asset Requirements (CAR) and MiFID obligations.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidance and governance frameworks.
• Proven track record in risk assessment and escalation of regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversight of CAR compliance, governance, control and reporting.
• Provide authoritative interpretation of client asset law and regulatory expectations.
• Assess and address MiFID activities and related regulatory obligations.
• Escalate material MiFID risks through governance channels and support regulatory engagement.
