Job summary

Apleona is seeking an experienced Working Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Duleek, Meath. This role covers supervision, training, stock control and ensuring high standards of cleanliness on a 35-hour weekly, rotating Monday–Sunday roster.

We are looking for someone who can work autonomously or as part of a team, promote a friendly atmosphere, maintain safety, and follow company policies while reporting on performance and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of English.
• Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
• Knowledge of how to use equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Able to manage own time effectively.
• Able to take instruction and direction and complete tasks to the highest standard.
• Knowledge of Principles of Chemical Safety.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on cleaning products and roles.
• Manage stock levels and replenish when minimum levels arise.
• Organise general housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control.
• Report and store lost and found items.
• Provide basic information on facilities as required.
• Handle complaints in line with your manager.
• Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain confidentiality on matters relating to service users and business.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Attend training and meetings and participate in performance reviews.
• Keep accurate records and prepare reports as required.
• Maintain a flexible approach to work in response to business changes.
• Take care of health & safety for yourself and others.
• Follow health, safety & welfare regulations.
• Wear PPE as identified by risk assessment.

  Apleona is looking for an experienced and hands-on Working Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Duleek, Meath.

  Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week, working on a rotating Monday–Sunday roster .

  Main duties and responsibilities

  • Ensuring correct and thorough training is given to all employees on the cleaning products and cleaning roles within their establishment.
  • Ensuring correct levels of stock is held and replenish when minimum levels arise.
  • Organising general housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control
  • Report and store lost and found items
  • May when required, provide basic information on facilities
  • Handle complaints in line with your manager.
  • Promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
  • Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to service users, ex-service users and general business
  • Adhere to all company policies & procedures
  • Attend training and meetings as required and appropriate and participate in performance reviews
  • Keep accurate records in relation to all aspects of work and prepare reports as required
  • Have a flexible approach to work in response to business change, development and review of best practice
  • Take care of their own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions
  • The post holder is expected to follow all the health, safety & welfare regulations
  • Comply with the safety rules set out in the Company Policies and any safety rules set out clients
  • Wear any personal protective equipment (PPE) supplied – Safety shoes/safety glasses/high-vis vests or any other item of PPE identified by the client or risk assessment for that task
