Job summary

Apleona in Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Working Cleaning Supervisor to lead the cleaning team and ensure high standards. You will train staff, manage stock and equipment, handle health and safety, and maintain records.

This full-time, permanent role covers a 35-hour week on a rotating Monday–Sunday roster. The ideal candidate will work autonomously, communicate clearly in English, and apply safe working practices while supporting clients and ensuring a welcoming

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Train employees on cleaning products and roles within the establishment.
• Maintain stock levels and replenish as needed.
• Organise general housekeeping and litter control around the building.
• Report and store lost and found items.
• Provide basic information on facilities when required.
• Handle complaints in line with management.
• Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain confidentiality on service users and business matters.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Attend training and meetings as required and participate in performance reviews.
• Keep accurate work records and prepare reports as required.
• Be flexible to respond to business changes and best practices.

Apleona is looking for an experienced and hands-on Working Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow.

Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 on a rotating Monday–Sunday roster .

Main duties and responsibilities

• Ensuring correct and thorough training is given to all employees on the cleaning products and cleaning roles within their establishment.
• Ensuring correct levels of stock is held and replenish when minimum levels arise.
• Organising general housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control
• Report and store lost and found items
• May when required, provide basic information on facilities
• Handle complaints in line with your manager.
• Promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain confidentiality on all matters relating to service users, ex-service users and general business
• Adhere to all company policies & procedures
• Attend training and meetings as required and appropriate and participate in performance reviews
• Keep accurate records in relation to all aspects of work and prepare reports as required
• Have a flexible approach to work in response to business change, development and review of best practice
• Take care of their own health & safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions
• The post holder is expected to follow all the health, safety & welfare regulations
• Comply with the safety rules set out in the Company Policies and any safety rules set out clients
• Wear any personal protective equipment (PPE) supplied – Safety shoes/safety glasses/high-vis vests or any other item of PPE identified by the client or risk assessment for that task
