Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking Cleaning Operatives to join the Cork City site on Model Farm Road. This full-time, permanent role offers an hourly wage of €14.8 in a 40-hour week with a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties across living and working areas, restocking supplies, waste disposal, and basic maintenance. Candidates should have a good work record and basic health & safety knowledge.

• Carrying out minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Monthly disinfection and deep cleaning.
• Maintain MSDSs and comply with safety precautions.

Cleaning Operative

We are looking forFull-time Cleaning Operatives to join our team at our site on the Model Farm Road in Cork City

working Pattern: Monday to Sunday, various shifts, 40 hours per week.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work area including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closets
• Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)
• Washing kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters
• Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary
• Taking out the garbage
• Carrying out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks
• Conducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning
• Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and compliance with universal precautions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Good work record, with previous cleaning experience desirable.
• Experience with cleaning equipment is desirable.
• Basic health and safety knowledge.
