Job summary

Gist Limited, part of the M&S Group, is seeking experienced Class 1 Shunter Drivers to join the Clonshaugh site in Ireland. You will move trailers around the yard, position loads for loading and unloading, and support transport and warehouse operations.

The role offers 40 hours per week, a 19:00–05:00 start window, permanent shifts with regular work, a modern fleet, competitive pay and benefits as part of the wider M&S family. Previous Class 1 experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC.
• Professional safety-focused approach.

The role at a glance

• Pay: 28.39 per hour + premium payments where applicable
• Location: Clonshaugh
• Experience: Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience

• Hours: 40
• Rota: Wednesday to Saturday
• Start times: 19:00 - 05:00

Additional shift premiums may apply depending on your working pattern.

What You'll Be Doing

Shunting

A key role supporting the smooth running of the site and ensuring trailers are positioned safely and efficiently.

You'll Need

What we're looking for

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• A minimum of 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC
• A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards
• A professional and safety-focused approach
• A reliable, team-focused attitude
• Confidence with manual handling where required
