Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to operate day or night shifts, transporting chilled and ambient goods between depots and customer sites across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. You will play a key role in reliable, on-time deliveries while upholding safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will hold a full, clean HGV Class 1 licence with valid CPC and tachograph card, strong English communication skills, and a professional, customer-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Full, clean HGV Class 1 licence is required.
• Valid CPC and tachograph card are mandatory.
• Good English communication and a friendly, professional attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1 HGV between depots and customer locations.
• Delivering chilled and ambient products safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure loads are secured.
