Job summary

Frylite Solutions in Dublin is seeking an experienced delivery driver to join our team. You will ensure safe, efficient day-to-day deliveries to customer premises, load/unload vehicles, plan routes, and support other drivers on two-person routes.

You will build strong customer relationships, handle stock/invoicing tasks, and report incidents while maintaining vehicle readiness and hygiene standards. Flexibility for varied start times and occasional Saturdays is expected.

Qualifications

• All drivers must have a valid C licence, up-to-date CPCs and Tachograph Card.
• Driving licence must not have any endorsements.

Responsibilities

• It is the responsibility of drivers to ensure efficient day to day performance of their duties and to ensure that all deliveries made to customers’ premises are carried out in a safe and hygienic manner.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently as part of daily delivery operations.
• Plan delivery routes and complete all necessary delivery and collection paperwork.
• Carrying out deliveries as well as assisting other HGV drivers on 2 person routes.
• Building excellent customer relationships and providing feedback of customer queries to wider Frylite Teams.
• Stock control & invoicing.
• Reporting of accidents, near misses, injuries, and spills. Ensuring all digital and hardcopy paperwork is completed.
• Compliance and safety: Carrying out vehicle checks ensuring your vehicle is for purpose and secure always.
• Responsible for washing of Frylite Solutions vehicles and ensuring vehicles are kept clean.
• Carry out any other duties as requested by the Distribution Manager.
• Can demonstrate how you have lived Frylite Solutions Values in previous roles to lead positive and progressive distribution.
• Good geographical knowledge of the road networks of surrounding counties to Depot would be advantageous.
• Ability to demonstrate how you can be flexible to accommodate variable start and finish times, and occasional Saturday work.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Experience of using hand held devices.
• Knowledge of food hygiene rules.
