Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to operate day or night shifts, transporting chilled and ambient goods between depots and customer sites across Ireland, the UK, and Europe. You will play a key role in reliable, on-time deliveries while upholding safety and quality standards.

The successful candidate will hold a full, clean HGV Class 1 licence with valid CPC and tachograph card, strong English communication skills, and a professional, customer-oriented approach.

About The Role

As a Class 1 HGV Driver working either days or nights, you'll be responsible for transporting chilled and ambient goods between our depots and customer sites. You'll play a key role in delivering a reliable service, ensuring products arrive safely, on time, and in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Driving Class 1 HGV vehicles between depots and customer locations
• Delivering chilled and ambient products safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Completing delivery documentation and ensuring all paperwork is accurate
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring loads are secured correctly
• Complying with all road transport legislation, including Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Assisting with loading and unloading activities when required
• Ensuring loads are distributed safely and securely before departure

About You

You’ll need a full, clean HGV Class 1 licence, along with a valid CPC and tachograph card to get started.
