Job summary

Cleantech Civils is seeking a Civils Site Engineer with setting-out experience for a project in Limerick. You will lead setting out using Total Station and laser equipment, manage testing coordination, and monitor quality and progress on site.

The role requires site engineering experience, knowledge of H&S regulations, and proficiency in Excel and MS Project, with strong communication and organisational skills to support client coordination and site measurements.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering (or similar).
• Site engineering experience with strong setting out skills.
• Knowledge of H&S regulations and site processes.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Valid safe pass.

Responsibilities

• Manage material requisitions and GRNs; maintain site records and progress photos.
• Lead daily JSSP briefings and ensure compliance with permits (e.g., breaking ground, WAH), RAMS, and lift plans).
• Conduct site inductions and excavation inspections (AF3).
• Coordinate testing and monitor ducting and pipework quality, testing, and documentation.

Job description

Cleantech Civils is currently looking for a Civils Site Engineer with Setting Out Experience for a project in Limerick.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• Manage material requisitions and GRNs; maintain site records and progress photos
• Lead daily JSSP briefings and ensure compliance with permits (e.g., breaking ground, WAH), RAMS, and lift plans)
• Conduct site inductions and excavation inspections (AF3)

Quality & Setting Out:

• Perform setting out using Total Station and laser equipment.
• Coordinate testing (concrete cubes, plate bearing) and pre-pour checks.
• Monitor ducting and pipework quality, testing, and documentation.
• Maintain as-built drawings and waste records.

Coordination:

• Support design coordination, technical queries, and client communication
• Attend site and client meetings.
• Monitor progress using Microsoft Project and assist with commercial tracking.
