A civil engineering firm is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a busy contractor in Limerick. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in civil construction. Responsibilities include setting out works, interpreting drawings, maintaining site diaries, and monitoring progress. Candidates must have strong communication and planning skills, and a full driving license is required. Qualifications

• SafePass/CSR Card is required.

Inform3 are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer for a busy civils contractor to work on groundworks/civils project in Limerick.

The client is seeking to add an experienced Civil Engineer to their team; the successful candidate will need to be confident in civil projects and have knowledge & experience on setting out and GPS.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

• Set out works accurately and ensure foremen and operatives understand the requirements
• Interpret drawings and specifications; communicate clearly with site teams and subcontractors
• Maintain a daily site diary, recording key activities and events
• Monitor and report on progress, including subcontractor performance, to the site manager
• Work safely and comply with all Health & Safety regulations
• Complete QA documentation and support inspections as directed
• Maintain professional relationships with all team members and stakeholders
• Attend meetings and follow instructions as needed

Civil Engineer Specification:

• Degree/HND in Construction or Civil Engineering with SafePass/CSR Card
• 2+ years' experience in civil construction
• Strong communication, teamwork, and planning skills
• Detail-oriented with good commercial awareness
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience in setting out and surveying; GPS use a plus
• Flexible to work across multiple sites
• Full driving licence
• Able to meet deadlines and work independently
