Job summary

ProSource Group is recruiting a Civil Structural Technician for our Dublin office. You will produce and maintain civil/structural CAD drawings and BIM models, from concept through to as-built, coordinating with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and process teams.

You will develop 2D drawings and 3D BIM models, model foundations, steelwork, reinforced concrete, drainage, and external works, while supporting engineers with detailed schedules and quantity take-offs.

Qualifications

• Level 6–8 qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Technology, BIM or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Good understanding of BIM workflows, ISO 19650 principles and Common Data Environments (CDE).
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of BIM standards, templates and digital engineering workflows.

ProSource are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Irish multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, for a Civil Structural Technician to join their Dublin office. With over 30 years of industry experience and more than 2,500 projects successfully delivered, the company works with some of Ireland's leading pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, industrial and commercial clients.

Role

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Technician within an engineering consultancy or similar environment.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Good understanding of BIM workflows, ISO 19650 principles and Common Data Environments (CDE).
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
