Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Structural Technician in Dublin to support the Structural Team with concept and detailed design across education, healthcare, commercial, housing and life science projects.

You will work in a BIM-enabled environment using Revit, AutoCAD, and CADS RC within a collaborative team, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with internal groups and external design teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of BIM processes and software in a structural context.
• Experience in preparing structural drawings and models.
• Proficient in CADS RC, Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience within a BIM environment and CDE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist Structural Team on concept design development and detailed design for education, healthcare, commercial office, housing, life science & leisure projects.
• Coordinate with internal multi-disciplinary project teams and external clients.
• Mentor junior staff and support ongoing training.
• Demonstrate a proactive, self-starting approach and ability to multi-task.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis one of the world's leading providers of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland. We are looking for a Senior Structural Technician with BIM / Revit & AutoCAD and skills, with proven experience in the successful delivery of Structural Project BIM/CAD outputs required immediately to work as a team member in our Dublin office.

Your role

Assisting Structural Team on concept design development and detailed design for a range of projects including education, healthcare, commercial office, housing, life science & leisure projects.

About You

• Good knowledge of Structural engineering and proficiency in BIM / Revit & AutoCAD and CADS RC required.
• Experience in preparation of structural engineering drawings / models.
• Working within a BIM environment, CDE knowledge essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Mentoring of junior staff.
• Coordination with internal multi-disciplinary projects teams.
• Liaising with external clients and design teams.
• Flexible approach with ability to be able to multi-task and prioritise when necessary.
• Positive outlook and approachable manner.
• Must be a proactive and motivated self-starter.
• Capable of working on their own or as part of team.
