Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician in Kildare. You will design and draft civil works for various projects, including commercial and residential developments, while enjoying a supportive and flexible work environment.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of consultancy experience and is familiar with BIM modelling. The role offers an excellent salary of €40K – €50K+ and benefits such as hybrid working and ongoing CPD.

About the role

Growing company with a large project pipeline. Civil Engineering Technician with 3-5 years’ experience required to join an established Irish owned Civil and Structural engineering consultancy in Kildare. The successful Civil Technician will be responsible for the Civil design and drafting for engineering projects with support from the senior management team. You will work on challenging projects whilst having a good work life balance. Projects include commercial, residential, healthcare, educational and industrial developments. This role offers a great opportunity to take the next step up in your career.

Sample Projects

• Hotels and various commercial projects. €30M+
• Various residential developments in the Leinster area. €30M – €650M
• Various educational projects €30M-€70M

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working within a consultancy.
• Experience working on civil projects.
• Ability in the creation of civil works delivery information, thorough earthworks modelling and design, and detailed design.
• Familiarity with BIM Models / Modelling for civil engineering.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Fluency in English and eligibility to work in Ireland.
