Job summary

NRL in Dublin is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our established team on life sciences facilities projects. You will contribute to high‑quality design solutions, producing calculations, reports and robust 3D models in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, technical excellence and adherence to Eurocode, Irish standards and client specifications. On‑site Dublin work with potential project‑driven flexibility is available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in building structures design.
• Proficient with Eurocode, BSI and Irish design standards.
• Proficient in structural design software such as TEKLA Designer.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural design calculations and detailed technical reports for project elements.
• Develop and review 3D Revit models and check structural drawings for accuracy.
• Collaborate with the project team and client representatives for coordination.
• Participate in design meetings and client review sessions.
• Ensure deliverables meet timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Comply with relevant codes, standards and client specifications.

Responsibilities
