Job summary

WSP’s Energy team in Ireland is seeking a Civil and Structural Engineer to deliver power transmission infrastructure. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment across feasibility, FEED, and detailed design stages, with opportunities for site visits and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering field; working toward chartered status.
• Solid experience in Civil & Structural detailed design for power projects.
• Knowledge of national/international codes for the Power sector.
• Familiarity with EirGrid and ESB Networks standards and specs.
• Experience with structural software (Robot Pro, STAAD) and CAD tools (Revit, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Develop cost-effective Civil & Structural design solutions with 3D models.
• Produce 3D models, reports, GA drawings, and RC detailing.
• Support plant layouts and 3D models; engage with vendors and clients.
• Lead design reviews, design workshops, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and timely deliverables.
