Job summary

Glanua, a leading provider of engineering solutions for water and wastewater, offers a Civil Engineer Intern placement in Loughrea, Co. Galway.

This formal internship supports design, project delivery and site work while you complete your degree. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, develop setting-out skills, interpret drawings and learn BIM tools, with mentoring and rotations as part of a graduate pathway.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related degree.
• Completed internship or placement connected to your studies.
• Willingness to work across office and project-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Support project activities from design to handover, including inspections and records.
• Develop foundational setting-out skills under supervision using basic equipment.
• Learn to interpret civil and construction drawings with guidance.
• Promote health, safety, environmental and quality practices on site.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in mentoring.
