Job summary

Trinity Support & Care Services Ltd is seeking experienced Social Care Workers to join our new Children's Residential Service in Cootehill, Co. Cavan. You will promote safe, person-centred care and ensure regulatory compliance while upholding our values and brand.

The ideal candidate has a background in supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours, with a commitment to dignity and positive outcomes for service users. Driving licence is required for Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care or intellectual disability settings.
• Experience with individuals with autism/complex needs.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviours with a person-centred approach.
• Strong record keeping and incident reporting.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Full driving licence for Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic supports with day to day living for individuals with an intellectual disability, autism or associated mental health needs.
• Provide person-centred and empowering supports, as per individual needs assessment.
• Ensure the Human Rights of each service user is exercised with integrity and respect.
• Ensure a safe environment is maintained at all times.
• Complete documentation, risk assessments and daily paperwork.
• Follow HIQA regulations and organisation policies.
• Participate in meetings and service user reviews and feed back information to management.
