Bluebird Care Ireland is seeking a Registered General Nurse to join our home support team in Carlow/Kilkenny. You will deliver safe, person-centred care for children at home, under the supervision of a nurse-led team.

Night shifts (8–12 hours) are available, with full-time and part-time options. Benefits include a starting bonus, ongoing training and support, and competitive pay rates. Training and clinical support are provided locally.

Qualifikationen

• Current registration on live register of NMBI.
• Pediatric nurse experience desirable.
• Previous experience in home care is an advantage, full training and support is provided to all candidates.

Role of Registered General Nurse

To provide safe, quality, person centred care to an child within their home environment. The successful candidate will be part of a Nurse led care team providing clinical care in a home environment.

Responsibilities include...

• Provide excellent evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the care plans based on the needs identified.
• To prioritise the needs and comforts of the client.
• To promote abilities, independence and to safeguard the client's interest at all times.
• Work closely in partnership with family members and clinical supervision team.
• Communicate effectively with client, family, clinical team & MDT reporting on client's clinical needs as required.
• Maintain accurate and professional clinical notes.

• To promote the recognition of the child as an individual.
• Demonstrate kindness, compassion, dignity, and respect.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current registration on live register of NMBI.
• RCN/RGN Trained.
