Bluebird Care Cork City is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses to provide one-to-one nursing care for children with complex healthcare needs in the community.

We have openings in Blarney and Cork City.

Locations & Hours

Blarney, Co. Cork

• 5 x 8-hour night shifts (Monday-Saturday)

Cork City

• 6 x 9-hour night shifts (Monday-Saturday)
• 5 x 6-hour day shifts (Monday-Saturday)

Clinical Responsibilities

Successful candidates will provide person-centred nursing care, which may include:

• Medication management
• Seizure management
• Ventilation/BiPap management
• Enteral feeding management
• Nebuliser management
• Pain management
• Care of children with disabilities
• Complex airway and tracheostomy management
• Urinary catheter management

Role Requirements

• Registered Nurse with an active NMBI registration
• Previous paediatric and home care experience is essential
• Experience in epilepsy management and seizure care.
• Excellent communication skills and a caring, family-centred approach
• Valid Irish Drivers Licence and Car
