Job summary

Bluebird Care Ireland is seeking a Home Support Nurse in Tipperary to deliver safe, person-centred nursing care to clients in their own homes. You will join a nurse-led team with local clinical supervision, reporting to CNM, and caring for children requiring specialised attention.

Roles include school hours, nights, and both full-time and part-time hours with training and development support. A starting bonus and ongoing professional training are provided by Bluebird Care Ireland.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse on live register of NMBI.
• Community based nursing experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
• Tracheostomy experience is required.
• Children's experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the client's care plans based on the needs identified.
• Prioritise the needs and comforts of the child.
• Work closely in partnership with family members.
• Promote the recognition of the client as an individual and demonstrate kindness, compassion, and respect.
• Be committed to the care and concern of the client.
• Work within the Scope of Practice NMBI (2015).
• Adhere to the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and Midwives (2015).

Role of Registered Nurse is to provide safe, quality person centred care to a client within their own home environment. The successful candidate will be part of Nurse led care team and will have support from local clinical supervision Team, reporting directly to CNM. Children's experience is required for these roles.
