Job summary

Sherpa Kids is seeking a proactive Childcare Coordinator for the Summerhill, Meath site. The role is full-time, on-site, with early morning and afternoon hours, supporting before/after school and holiday club activities for primary school children.

Ideal candidates have a Fetac Level 5 childcare qualification, strong English communication, and experience with school-aged children. Garda vetting and two written references are required; own car is advantageous for travel between sites.

Job Description

Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team

Own carrequiredfor programme lead

Maintain the day-to-day activities

Interacting with the children, theirfamiliesand other staff members each day.

Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)

Proficiencyin technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)

Childcare qualificationFetacLevel 5 of equivalent

Basic knowledge of child development

Proficiency in English, both verbal and written

Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).

At least 2 written references checks arerequiredbefore starting

Monday to Friday 7.50am to 8.50am and 1.25pm to 6pm Plus two hours per week for administrative purposes
