Job summary

Sherpa Kids is seeking a Programme Lead to join our Ireland team. You will manage and inspire a team delivering before/after school and holiday clubs at partner schools. This role requires strong communication with children, families and staff, plus reliable use of Word, Outlook and Teams.

Applicants should have childcare qualifications, be able to work on-site in Dublin West, and provide Garda vetting and references. Own car is preferred for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a childcare setting.
• Proficiency with basic office software and child-safe tech.
• Experience working with school aged children (minimum 1 year).
• Strong verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to deliver before/after school programmes.
• Ensure daily activities run smoothly and safely.
• Engage with children, families and staff daily.

Job Description

• Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team

• Own car required for programme lead

• Maintain the day-to-day activities

• Interacting with the children, their families and other staff members each day.

• Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

• Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)

• Proficiency in technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

Qualifications

• Experience working with School Aged children (Minimum 1 Year)

• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 of equivalent

• Basic knowledge of child development

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written

• Garda vetting is essential (completed by us after interview stage).

• Work Permit/ VISA essential

• At least 2 written references checks are required before starting

Additional Information

Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon times for the before school care and afterschool)
