Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is seeking a Programme Lead to manage and lead a team delivering before/after school and holiday club programmes at partner schools in Dublin. The role involves supervising daily activities, coordinating staff, and engaging with children in a safe, energetic environment.

The candidate should have childcare qualifications, experience with school aged children, strong English skills, and reliable transport. Garda vetting and references are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school aged children (min 1 year).
• Fetac Level 5 childcare or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of child development.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Garda Vetting is essential (completed after interview).
• At least 2 written references before starting.
• Proficiency in Word/Outlook/Teams and general software.

Responsibilities

• Own car required for programme lead.
• Maintain day-to-day activities of the programme.
• Interact with children, their families and staff daily.
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to work with children.
• Experience with school aged children preferred (min 1–2 years).

Job Description

Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team

Own carrequiredfor programme lead

Maintain the day-to-day activities

Interacting with the children, theirfamiliesand other staff members each day.

Lots of energy and enthusiasm to work with children.

Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)

Proficiencyin technology and software (Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
