Foodhub in Dublin seeks a CTO to define and execute the global technology strategy, align with CEO and executive team, and drive innovation across our platform and services. You will lead a worldwide engineering organization, ensure scalable, secure systems, and support international growth.

You will oversee infrastructure, data, and AI initiatives, build high‑performing teams, manage budgets and partnerships, and champion best practices in software architecture.

The Foodhub Tech Stack is extensive: from Web and Mobile Ordering to 3rd Party Order Aggregation, Dispatch and Self-Delivery, complete Hardware/Software POS systems, extensive array of POS integrations, On-Premise Kiosks, QR Code Ordering and Payment, Table-side Mobile Order/Receipt Printers, plus an extensive product and development team to support all of this.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll work closely together to embed AI across our products, leadour engineering organisation and support Foodhub's continued international growth.

Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape long-term company strategy and innovation roadmap.

Platform & Product Delivery

Oversee the design, development, and delivery of Foodhub’s core platform, products, and services.

Ensure high-quality, scalable, and resilient systems that support global operations.

Drive best practices in software development, architecture, and engineering excellence.

Work closely with product and commercial teams to deliver customer‑centric solutions.

Engineering & Team Leadership

Build, lead, and scale a high‑performing global engineering and technology organisation.

Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Develop leadership capability within engineering teams across multiple regions.

Attract, retain, and develop top technical talent.

Infrastructure, Security & Reliability

Oversee global technology infrastructure, ensuring performance, scalability, and uptime.

Evaluate and manage third‑party vendors, platforms, and partnerships.

Identify opportunities to optimise costs and improve technology ROI.

Key Experience

Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role within a large‑scale, global organisation.

Direct experience within the food ordering, hospitality technology, marketplace, or POS/EPOS industry is highly desirable.

Strong background in building and scaling high‑availability, customer‑facing platforms.

Experience leading large, distributed engineering teams across multiple regions.

Deep technical expertise in modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and scalable systems.

Demonstrated success in driving technology transformation and innovation.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance.

Experience aligning technology strategy with commercial and operational objectives.

Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence at executive and board level.

Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
