• Lead Information Management Services as the hospital's senior executive for digital, data, cyber security and information governance.
• Provide strategic digital leadership as a member of the Executive Management Group.
• Oversee the major digital transformation programme including EPR optimisation, PAS renewal and Microsoft 365.
• Build secure, resilient digital services to support patient safety and operational effectiveness.
• Shape the IMS operating model with governance, scale and talent to meet current and future needs.
• Develop data, analytics, AI and research capability in line with national and European digital health developments.

Role Summary

The CIO will:

• Lead Information Management Services as the hospital's senior executive for digital, data, cyber security, information governance and technology services.
• Provide strategic digital leadership as a member of the Executive Management Group, translating hospital priorities into a realistic and prioritised digital roadmap.
• Stabilise, embed and advance the hospital's major digital transformation programme, including EPR optimisation, PAS renewal, Microsoft 365, patient portal implementation and end-user device modernisation.
• Build secure, resilient and reliable digital services that support patient safety, clinical continuity and operational effectiveness.
• Shape the future IMS operating model, ensuring the function has the scale, skills, structure, governance and culture needed to meet current pressures and future ambitions.
• Develop the hospital's data, analytics, integration, AI and research-enabling capability in line with national and European digital health developments.
