Job summary

The Talbot Group, Ireland's leading healthcare organisation, invites a dynamic cybersecurity and AI leader to drive strategic initiatives across the business in partnership with the ICT team and the Board. You will spearhead the cybersecurity programme, work with external partners, and identify practical AI solutions from concept to adoption, while promoting flexible hybrid and part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, AI, digital transformation, IT management, information security or technology consulting would all be relevant.
• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity technologies, Microsoft 365, Copilot, ChatGPT or other AI platforms would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the organisation’s cybersecurity programme.
• Work with external cybersecurity partners and providers.
• Identify, assess and implement practical AI solutions across the business.
• Lead AI projects from idea through to implementation and adoption.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend opportunities for improvement.
• Support the ongoing development of cybersecurity and AI-related policies, practices, roadmaps and risk management

Working closely with the ICT team and with full support from senior management and the Board, this role will suit someone with a real passion for cybersecurity and AI who takes pride in achieving tangible results and is always looking for better ways of doing things.

Experience
