The Irish Heart Foundation in Rathmines is seeking a Director of Advocacy to lead the Foundation's national and EU-level advocacy agenda. You will report to the CEO, supervise the Advocacy Team and drive policy influence to improve cardiovascular health and equity.

You will collaborate with government, healthcare partners, patients and researchers, shaping campaigns on tobacco, nutrition, and access to services.

Aufgaben

• Define, develop and implement the advocacy strategy and operational plans, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and evolving policy landscapes.
• Lead national advocacy to secure a cardiovascular health policy and full implementation of key health strategies.
• Engage with EU-level decision-making and build capacity among networks to improve cardiovascular health across Europe.
• Manage the Advocacy Team, provide leadership, motivation and professional development.
• Act as spokesperson on advocacy issues and coordinate campaigns with Marketing & Communications.
• Ensure patient voice is central and monitor impact through data, evaluation and collaboration.
