Job summary

The SpitJack Rotisserie Brasserie in Cork is hiring chefs of all grades to join our kitchen team. We welcome Commis, Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie and Sous Chef, with immediate or flexible start dates.

Wages start from €14.50 per hour, depending on experience and grade, with enhanced Sunday and bank holiday rates. We offer flexible schedules (part-time and full-time), extensive learning resources, and a supportive team culture focused on quality and Irish produce.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes to SpitJack standards
• Working across sections of the kitchen as required by grade and experience
• Ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
• Following food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures at all times
• Managing stock rotation and storage where applicable
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members (for senior grades)
• Contributing to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture
