Job summary

The SpitJack Rotisserie Brasserie in Cork is hiring chefs of all grades to join our kitchen team. We welcome commis up to sous chef and offer flexible hours with part-time and full-time positions available.

Immediate or flexible start date and competitive compensation reflect experience and grade. Wages start at €14.50 per hour, with higher rates for senior grades and increased pay on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes to SpitJack standards
• Working across sections of the kitchen as required by grade and experience
• Ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
• Following food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures at all times
• Managing stock rotation and storage where applicable
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members (for senior grades)
• Contributing to a positive, team‑focused kitchen culture

Wages:

From €14.50/hour, depending on experience and grade
