Job summary

The Mespil Hotel in Dublin is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team. You will assist the Sous Chef in preparation, cooking and service of all hotel food, ensuring high standards and efficient kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities include assisting in training commis chefs, following HACCP procedures, maintaining cleanliness, assisting with daily food orders, menu input, waste reduction and upholding service excellence for hotel guests.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience from a similar style property or restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef in the preparation, cooking and service of all hotel food.
• Assist in training commis chefs and learning the kitchen HACCP plan.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times.
• Assist the head chef with daily food orders and menu input.
• Contribute to reducing wastage and controlling food costs.
