Excel Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a busy family-run hotel in Kilkenny City for a Chef de Partie. You will take ownership of your section, maintain exceptional quality and presentation, and contribute to menu development.

You will work across all kitchen sections, support daily service in a fast-paced environment, ensure food safety and cleanliness, and collaborate with a talented team that values creativity and ambition.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis/Senior Chef looking to step up.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Experience working across multiple kitchen sections.
• A genuine passion for quality food and hospitality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to support colleagues when needed.
• High standards of cleanliness, organisation, and attention to detail.
