Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in delivering high‑quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. You will follow recipes, manage your station, and ensure food safety standards are met while contributing to a positive team culture.

You will work with the head chef on menu development, maintain cleanliness, and uphold presentation and taste standards. Ongoing training and supportive, inclusive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role with increasing seniority.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Capable and willing to be responsible for service during key periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards, ensuring safety.
• Station Management – oversee production at your station and maintain cleanliness.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality, presentation and taste.
• Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with team members and assist others.
• Menu Development – collaborate with head chef to develop and taste new recipes.
• Cleaning and Maintenance – keep kitchen and area clean and equipment in good order.
