Job summary

Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare, Co. Kerry, Ireland, invites applications for a Demi/Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team. A qualified chef at demi/chef de partie level with 2+ years in a similar hotel/restaurant background is required.

You will develop skills under the Head Chef, with opportunities to advance your career. The role is full-time, includes weekends and evening shifts, and offers meals on duty, uniforms, parking, full training, and staff discounts across our properties.

Qualifications

• Qualified chef at demi/chef de partie level.
• 2+ years experience in hotel/restaurant background.
• Demonstrate passion for food and cooking skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of food preparation and service for the afternoon and evening service.
• Ensure food prepared and presented is of high quality.
• Maintain HACCP and food safety guidelines.
• Assist in other kitchen sections as required.

Chef de Partie

We are currently inviting applications for a demi/ Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team in September 2023. A qualified chef to a demi chef de partie or chef de partie level is required for the main kitchen with a further 2+ year experience coming from a similar hotel/ restaurant background necessary to join our team. Your will be required to demonstrate your experience, your passion for food, your food knowledge and cooking skills. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills under the guidance of the Head Chef. This is a great opportunity to grow & develop a career. As part of your duties, you will be required to:

• Maintaining high standards of food preparation and service of the afternoon and evening service.
• Be aware of all food preparation standards and that they are met at all times.
• Ensure that food that is prepared and presented is of high quality.
• Ensure food safety guidelines & HACCP are maintained and monitored.
• Assist in other sections of the Kitchen as required.

This is a full-time position which includes weekends and evening shifts.
