Job summary

The SpitJack Rotisserie Brasserie in Cork is hiring chefs of all grades to join our busy kitchen. We welcome Commis, Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie and Sous Chef, with flexible schedules and immediate or flexible start.

Wages start from €14.50/hour, depending on experience and grade. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking to SpitJack standards, working across sections, ensuring quality and portion control, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes to SpitJack standards
• Working across sections of the kitchen as required by grade and experience
• Ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
• Following food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures at all times
• Managing stock rotation and storage where applicable
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members (for senior grades)
• Contributing to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture
