Job summary

IDOM is seeking a Chartered Civil Engineer to join our Ireland team, delivering major infrastructure projects in Ireland from our Dublin office. The role focuses on design leadership within D&B environments, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and driving the design programme to meet stakeholders’ requirements.

Ideal candidates possess ~20 years in design and D&B, with transport infrastructure experience in Ireland/UK, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; Chartered Engineer status.
• Approximately 20 years in design and D&B project delivery.
• Experience in transport infrastructure projects in Ireland/UK.
• Strong design coordination and leadership in contractor-led teams.
• English proficiency; Spanish an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as Design Manager/Design Lead within a D&B team, interfacing with Contractor and stakeholders.
• Lead the delivery of high-profile infrastructure projects in Ireland, including Dublin Airport works.
• Manage and coordinate design packages ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and drive the design programme.
• Manage interfaces with contractors, authorities, utilities providers and clients.
• Contribute to tender and delivery phases within contractor-led D&B environments.
• Ensure compliance with Irish regulatory frameworks and TII standards.
